I know I should have been typing up concise versions of my clinic notes so I could post them here, but I've had a few other exciting things on my plate this week.
1. A new blog look! It seems I enjoy web design and creating graphics. The artist in me gets to come out and play. Since I'm working to consolidate a look between the blog, my webpage, twitter etc. this is what I came up with.
2. Mahalo- If you haven't heard of Mahalo, well let me tell you a little about it. This website is an answer and information forum that allows users to pay other users for the value and quality of the information provided. You can find me on Mahalo as Piaffedreams.... Next you can ask me horse questions! Yes, you can directly ask me a question, have me review a video of you riding your horse or working with it on the ground and offer payment based on what YOU feel the information is worth. Its possible to ask public questions, but you can directly ask a person like myself for expert advice. The best part is that the payment is secure. I've had a number of people ask about sending me videos to critique or review. A number of students, especially those far away have like many of us struggled with finances in these times. This is a way to get help at less expense and without having to come directly to me all the time. Yeah! Mahalo works on Paypal, so you do need a Paypal account.
3. New barns and clinic locations - I give lessons at Inouye Farms in Penryn, Mortazavi Farms in Lincoln and am working on dates in Davis and Elverta at this time. I'll also be available to barns out off of highway 50 Folsom-El Dorado Hills. Rate is based on the number of students and the distance traveled.
